Bringing Human-Centered AI to Life at GStar Summit 2026
When the Conversation About AI Becomes a Conversation About Humanity
Artificial intelligence is advancing at extraordinary speed.
As models become more capable and AI systems enter more aspects of work and everyday life, the conversation can no longer focus solely on what the technology is able to do. It must also consider what it should enable, whom it should serve and how progress can remain grounded in human values.
GStar Summit 2026: AI & Humanity was created around this question.
Held on May 29, 2026, at Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, the summit brought together researchers, technology leaders, policymakers, founders and business executives to explore how human-centered AI could contribute to sustainable growth, social progress and shared prosperity across the Asia-Pacific region.
Co-organized by New Turing Institute and Pacific Gateway Partners, with Google and FPT as strategic partners, the summit positioned Vietnam as a meeting point for an increasingly important global conversation: how technological breakthroughs can translate into meaningful human progress.
A Global AI Dialogue in Vietnam
GStar Summit 2026 welcomed more than 1,000 participants from over 160 companies and institutions.
The full-day programme featured 20 international speakers spanning artificial intelligence, business, education, healthcare, finance, policy and scientific research. Participants heard from leading voices from Google DeepMind, Carnegie Mellon University, Qualcomm AI Research, MBZUAI, FPT Corporation, Google Asia Pacific, MoMo, VinUniversity, Boryung, Milken Institute and emerging technology companies across the region.

The morning sessions explored the foundations and real-world impact of artificial intelligence, including foundation models, agentic AI, AI safety, enterprise transformation and real-time language technologies.
The afternoon shifted the conversation towards humanity: education in the age of AI, responsible innovation, healthcare, financial trust and the role of human judgment, empathy and wisdom in an increasingly automated world.
Designing an Experience Around Complex Ideas
A technology summit is not simply a sequence of presentations.
It is an environment in which ideas, people and organizations must come together with clarity. Every element—from the first announcement and registration touchpoint to the stage, content, transitions and guest journey—contributes to how the subject is understood and remembered.
For GStar Summit 2026, the creative challenge was to translate an expansive and highly technical theme into an experience that felt clear, cohesive and human.
The summit needed to communicate the ambition of advanced artificial intelligence without becoming visually cold or inaccessible. It also needed to reflect the intellectual depth of its speakers while creating an atmosphere that encouraged dialogue across different industries, disciplines and cultures.
NewNow worked closely with New Turing Institute and Pacific Gateway Partners to bring the summit to life from the first creative concept through to the final moments onsite.
From Concept to Execution
NewNow led the summit’s creative and experience development across multiple interconnected workstreams.
Creative Direction and Event Identity
The event identity established the visual foundation for GStar Summit 2026.
Rather than presenting AI only through conventional imagery of machines, data or futuristic interfaces, the creative direction connected technology with a broader sense of human possibility.
The system needed to work across digital communications, speaker content, physical environments and live production while remaining instantly recognizable throughout the guest journey.
Content and Communication Design
A summit involving 20 speakers, multiple session formats and a wide range of complex topics requires a clear content system.
NewNow developed visual frameworks that helped organize information across the programme, from speaker introductions and session titles to presentation assets, holding content and live transitions.
The objective was not to compete with the ideas on stage, but to provide a consistent structure through which those ideas could be communicated clearly.
Spatial and Guest Experience
The summit experience extended beyond the main stage.
NewNow shaped the visual and spatial touchpoints across the venue, helping guests navigate registration, networking areas, partner experiences and the conference programme as one connected environment.
Every detail needed to support the professional expectations of an international audience while creating space for spontaneous conversation and collaboration.
Technical Production and Onsite Operations
Live events depend on precision.
Across stage management, technical production, speaker coordination, content playback and onsite operations, the NewNow team worked alongside the organizers and production partners to maintain a consistent experience throughout the day.
With senior speakers, international guests and a tightly structured programme, each transition needed to feel seamless—even when the work behind it involved multiple teams, systems and real-time decisions.
Creating One Cohesive Experience
The scale of GStar Summit 2026 was not defined only by attendance.
Its complexity came from bringing together different dimensions of the AI conversation within a single event: technical breakthroughs and human values, global expertise and local ambition, academic research and commercial implementation.
The role of the event experience was to create coherence across these dimensions.
From the identity guests encountered before arriving to the conversations they experienced on stage, every touchpoint contributed to a shared narrative:
AI progress should not be measured by technological capability alone, but by its ability to expand human potential.
Strengthening Vietnam’s Place in the AI Conversation
GStar Summit 2026 brought some of the world’s leading researchers and technology thinkers to Ho Chi Minh City while connecting them with Vietnam’s business, policy, academic and innovation communities.
More than 28% of participants held leadership positions, while 77% represented technology and digital-first organizations, creating a highly relevant audience for substantive exchange and future collaboration.
Beyond the individual sessions, the summit demonstrated Vietnam’s growing ability to convene global expertise and contribute to the Asia-Pacific conversation about responsible, human-centered artificial intelligence.
For NewNow, the project reflected what we believe a technology experience should achieve.
It should make complex ideas clearer without reducing their depth. It should create the conditions for meaningful interaction. And it should give an important conversation a physical form that people can see, feel and remember.
